This thing is so sweet I decided to start a brand new blog just to talk about it. Seriously.
A few weeks ago I was over at a buddy's house, and a friend of his from work came over with one of these remote control helicopters. I was immediately fascinated. The technology is astounding.
I'm not going to lie, the controls took a little getting used to. I have more respect for real helicopter pilots now than ever. But man...it is so much fun. I knew right away I had to buy one for myself.
I play with this thing all day. Constantly. Probably more than I really should. My wife can't stand it, probably because she fears I am more in love with my toy helicopter than with her. There may or may not be any truth to that theory.
There's also a mini wireless camera you can buy that can be fixed to the helicopter (or any other remote control device) for even more fun. The possibilities are endless.
In addition to the regular High Flyer RC Helicopter, there's also a mini helicopter available, which is recommended for indoor use. Although, truth be told, I use my High Flyer RC indoors all the time. But I have high ceilings!
Anyway, if you're looking for Christmas gift ideas for him, or if you're just looking for some super fun recreation that will make you feel like a kid all over again, this is it.
